The pallet is scanned. Is it ready for the next truck?

A beep identifies the goods. navichain connects receipt, location and the next transport in one workflow.
Summary
navichain combines barcode scanning with warehouse locations, customer goods and transport bookings. A terminal can therefore connect receipt, placement and release in one coherent workflow. Zebra equipment uses established input methods and is configured for the operation’s code formats, screens and events. Follow six pallets through a changed evening departure: four continue while two receive a clear new next step.
Six pallets arrive
The receiver checks customer, goods and quantity. The record states clearly what the terminal has actually accepted.
Identity first
The label carries an identity. navichain uses it to find the record where owner, quantity, location and transport belong.
Give the goods an address
Zones and storage locations give the pallet a defined position. The next person can find it after the receiving colleague has gone home.
One plan for office and dock
The transport booking and terminal work use the same information. Dispatch plans the departure and the dock sees which goods should travel.
The departure changes
Two pallets must wait until tomorrow. Dispatch changes the plan and the terminal receives a clear new task.
Four leave. Two stay.
Four pallets are released against the evening transport. The remaining two enter the storage routine and receive a known location.
The next shift finds them
The morning shift searches the identity and finds both pallets immediately. Yesterday’s decision remains visible in the workflow.
Zebra feeds the workflow
DataWedge or Bluetooth HID brings the scanned code into the active screen. Scanning becomes part of receipt, placement and release.
Configuration is part of implementation
Scanner, code format, field mapping and subsequent events are set up for the terminal process. This is a normal part of implementation.
The right event for the right recipient
An internal move rarely deserves a customer message. navichain keeps documents and customer information close to the transport and the correct organisation.
From scan to handover
When identity, location and the current booking agree, the terminal can confirm the handover. The next role receives a clear result.
One flow through the terminal
From first receipt to confirmed handover, the team uses the same identity and current information. The next person knows what to do.
