  • Protection from the US CLOUD Act. Because your data resides on Swedish soil with a Swedish company, it is protected from US jurisdiction and foreign data access requests.
  • Anonymous Help for Maps. To provide essential features like route optimization, our application sends location data (like an address) to a specialized mapping service. Importantly, we never disclose who is making the request. It’s an anonymous task, ensuring your identity is always protected.
  • Our AI Works Only for You. All our AI processing happens on our own servers in Sweden, using your data to benefit only you.
  • GDPR Compliant. We are fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), giving you full control over your information.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy outlines how Navichain AB and its fully owned subsidiaries, Navilog Solutions AB and Navilog Technology (pvt) Ltd (collectively "we," "us," or "our") collect, use, and protect your data when you visit our website (navichain.se) or use our Software-as-a-Service platform and related services (the "Service"). This unified policy governs all our data processing activities.

3. Data Storage, Security, and Jurisdiction

  • Unified Data Location: All of your user data, operational data, and website analytics data are processed and stored exclusively on our secure servers located within Sweden.

  • Security: We implement robust technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, to protect all your data.

  • Protection from US CLOUD Act: Because Navichain AB and Navilog Solutions AB are Swedish companies and all your core data is stored on our Swedish servers, this data is not subject to US jurisdiction or the US CLOUD Act.

  • Third-Party Processing for Mapping Services:

    • To provide essential functionality such as address lookups and route calculation, our Service must communicate with third-party mapping service providers.
    • When this occurs, we send only the minimum data required, such as an address or coordinates.
    • Crucially, we never disclose your user identity, account information, or company name to the mapping provider. The request is anonymous from your perspective.
    • These specialized mapping providers may be based outside of the EU, and the location data sent for the lookup will be processed on their global infrastructure, subject to their data processing terms. This is the only exception to our "all data in Sweden" rule.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We will never sell your personal data. We only share data in the following limited circumstances:

  • Sub-processors: We use trusted third-party companies for specific, essential functions within our SaaS application, such as payment processing and providing mapping services. These partners are carefully vetted.
  • Legal Obligation: We may disclose your information if required by Swedish or EU law.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, customer data may be transferred, but the new entity must honor the commitments in this policy.

5. Cookie Policy, Analytics, and Third-Party Content

  • Application Cookies: Within our SaaS application, we use only essential cookies required for functionality, such as maintaining your login session.
  • Website Analytics: We respect your privacy on our public website. We use a privacy-focused analytics platform hosted on our own Swedish servers. This system does not use tracking cookies and anonymizes your IP address.
  • Third-Party Content & Consent: To provide a rich experience, our public website may embed content from third-party services, such as informational videos (e.g., from YouTube). These external services may set their own tracking cookies and transfer your data (like your IP address) to their servers, potentially outside the EU. To ensure full transparency and provide you with control, we use a cookie consent banner. No non-essential cookies or third-party content will be loaded unless and until you provide your explicit consent.
