The concept of transport agreement in navichain enables the transport provider to provide services that are not necessarily tied to specific transport bookings. A transport contract can be seen as an agreed transport service that involves the provision of transport resources, for example a truck, to a particular customer in a particular time slot (or time slots). The contract of carriage will be linked to a service which defines the parameters for which the service is to be charged. For example, the fee may be based on the duration of a particular type of asset provided to the customer or how many km a truck had driven during a particular run for the contract in question.
