These days, no one questions that most companies need to digitize their operations to remain competitive. Companies that want to make this change usually have two main options. Either they can choose a conventional fully fledged ERP system, which is often costly and requires extensive implementation projects. Alternatively, they can develop their own tools from scratch or put together one of the many small tools and applications available for individual functions themselves.
